Pay-per-call MCP server. Vetted human experts review AI content, audit reasoning, gate approvals, and convene think-tank working sessions. 9 paid tools $1–$15, USDC on Base via x402.
Overview

Taste is a pay-per-call MCP server that puts vetted human experts in the loop for AI agents.

What it does — humans review an AI agent's output across any media (text, images, video, audio, social posts), audit step-by-step reasoning chains for mid-chain errors, run prepublish safety checks (cultural sensitivity, brand safety, derivative risk), gate high-stakes actions for explicit human approval before anything irreversible happens, and convene curated expert teams for 30- or 60-minute think-tank working sessions on an idea, problem, or decision. Approved outputs receive a Taste content certificate recorded on Base — any downstream agent can verify the review on-chain.

Connect — MCP endpoint https://api.humantaste.app/mcp/ over Streamable HTTP (MCP 2025-06-18). No API key, no signup. Free tools (list_offerings, list_expert_profiles, get_result, verify_certificate) answer immediately. Paid tools cost $1.00–$15.00 per call (evaluation tools $1, think tank $5/$15), settled in USDC on Base mainnet via x402 — call without payment, get an HTTP 402 challenge, sign an EIP-3009 USDC transfer, retry. Typical human turnaround is 5–30 minutes for evaluation, up to 24h for a think tank session.

Paid tools — verify_external_source, review_content, verify_reasoning_chain, prepublish_review, predict_audience_reaction, arbitrate_dispute, request_human_approval, order_think_tank_session_30, order_think_tank_session_60.

Compliance — EU AI Act Article 50(2) exempts AI-generated content from mandatory AI-disclosure labels when it has had human review or editorial control. Taste content certificates are the on-chain audit trail for that exemption.

//beforeyouship — LLM Cost Modeling From Your Editor
@Indiegoing

Query realistic LLM cost models without leaving your editor. beforeyouship models the **true monthly cost** of an LLM app architecture — retries, prompt caching, batch discounts, infra overhead, and 3×/10× growth — across GPT-5.x, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, and more. Not a token calculator: a planning tool for the design phase, before you commit to a stack. **No API key needed to try it** — demo mode covers the six free-tier models. A Pro key from [beforeyouship.dev](https://beforeyouship.dev) unlocks the full 18-model catalog. ## What you can ask - "How much will a RAG chatbot cost at 10,000 requests/day?" - "Compare Claude Haiku vs Gemini Flash pricing for my workload" - "What's the cheapest model for a multi-step agent at scale?" - "Show me current per-token prices for Anthropic models" ## Tools ### `estimate_cost` Full cost model for an architecture at a given usage level. Returns Naive / Realistic / Worst Case monthly cost per model, 3×/10× growth scenarios, and an opinionated recommendation with reasoning. ### `get_model_prices` Current per-1M-token pricing — input, output, cached input, batch — with context windows and staleness metadata. ### `list_archetypes` Seven preset architecture patterns (simple chatbot, chatbot with history, RAG pipeline, multi-model router, coding assistant, document processor, multi-step agent) used as starting points for estimates. ## Setup **Claude Code:** ```bash claude mcp add --transport http beforeyouship https://beforeyouship.dev/api/mcp ``` **Cursor / other clients** — add a remote server: ```json { "mcpServers": { "beforeyouship": { "type": "streamable-http", "url": "https://beforeyouship.dev/api/mcp" } } } ``` Add an `Authorization: Bearer bys_...` header with a Pro key for the full catalog. ## Try it > Estimate the monthly cost of a RAG pipeline at 10,000 requests/day
